Mud Mayhem 2 Mud Bog Breaks records at “The Pit” at VMS

Jamaica, VA – The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway hosted the first of two Mud Bog and Mud Sling’s for the 2012 season this past Saturday June 16th breaking records in the process. The Mud Mayhem 2 Mud Bog and Mud Sling presented by Rappahannock Tractor and the Virginia Army National Guard and in part by Davis off Road, ORI of Richmond, Truckin Thunder, Collision One and Monster Energy Drink drew a huge crowd and record field of competitors at the state of the art mud bog facility in Jamaica, VA. The sunny temperatures and sunny skies provided a tremendous day for mud bogging. 112 different competitors took turns at the state of the art 200 foot pit for a total of 202 completed passes. Winners in each class: Stock A – “Mudiva” Tanya Ricks in Hell On Heels becoming The Pit’s first female competitor to win a division; Stock B – Luther Ganon in Just Blazin’; Modified A – George Johnson in Gold Digger 2; Modified B – George Johnson in Gold Digger; Modified C – Herby Dorsett in Jusplayin; Pro Mod – Chuck Engel in Mud Life Crisis; Unlimited Bog – Chuck Engel in Mud Life Crisis; X Cuts – Travis Shoemaker in Highroller 4; and XX Paddles – Chris Newton in Hostile Projectile. Travis Shoemaker in High Roller 4 took top Nitrous/Non-blower bonus in both the X Cut class and XX Paddle class. Record Crowd for 7th Annual Run A Muck Mud Bog And Mud Sling at The Pit

Jamaica, VA – The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway hosted the 7th Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling presented by James River / Rappahannock Tractor, Virginia Army National Guard and in part by Davis Off Road, Monster Energy Drink, NAPA of King William, Truckin Thunder and ORI of Richmond this past Saturday October 1st to a record crowd. The event also boasted another large field of competitors featuring not only some of the areas top mud trucks in a very tough mud pit but also the very popular 1500 horsepower mud dragsters in the mud sling pit. If that wasn’t enough the fans were also treated to an awesome monster truck freestyle show by Equalizer and fans also witnessed the first performance of Dennis Anderson’s King Sling at a track other than Anderson’s own Muddy Motorsports Park. The cool temperatures and partly sunny skies provided a tremendous day for mud bogging. Overall 110 different competitors took turns at the state of the art 200 foot pit for a total of 203 total passes. Winners in each class: Stock A – Neal McClanan in Never Enough; Stock B – Doyle Winn; Modified A – George Johnson in Gold Digger; Modified B – Ray Atkins in Haulin’ Gas; Modified C – George Johnson in Gold Digger; Pro Mod – Colt Shell in Big Bad Wolf; Unlimited Bog – Colt Shell in Big Bad Wolf; X Class – Chris Newton in Hostile Projectile; X Class Non-Blower – Chuck Brown in Mudaholic; XX Class – Chris Newton in Hostile Projectile; and XX Class Non-Blower – Travis Shoemaker in Highroller 4. Action to Switch to The Pit for 6th Annual Run A Muc Mud Bog on Sat. Oct. 2nd; Two Monster Trucks and Monster Ride Along Truck Added to Festivities

Jamaica, VA – With the rains now out of the way The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway will host the 6th Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling presented by Rappahannock Tractor and The Virginia Army National Guard Saturday October 2nd featuring a state of the art 200-foot Mud Bog and Mud Sling pits. There will be seven classes of “Mud Maniacs” in action ranging from street to unlimited with cash payouts in all classes. Not only will fans get to see hordes of trucks splashing through the 200 foot Mud Bog pit but they will also get the opportunity to see some of the regions best Mud Dragsters covering the 200 foot Mud Sling pit in under three seconds. The event will also include Stone Crusher and Mopar Magic in a car crushing monster truck freestyle show. Their will be a Monster “Ride-A-Long” Truck on hand for the afternoons festivities as well. Rides will be $5 per ride....
