VIRGINIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY HEADED TO MOTORSPORTS 2015 SHOW

Jamaica, VA – Virginia Motor Speedway is headed to the 30th Annual Pioneer Pole Buildings Motorsports 2015 Fueled by Sunoco Race Fuels and Distributed by Insinger Performance Race Car and Trade Show set for January 23-25, 2015. The popular show produced by Len Sammons Productions is back at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. The 30th Annual Pioneer Pole Buildings Motorsports 2015 Fueled by Sunoco Race Fuels and Distributed by Insinger Performance Race Car and Trade Show will cover close to 220,000 square feet of the Expo Center with more than 600 exhibit areas offering just about everything automotive. Close to 200 racecars will be on display and there will be appearances by many of the top names in the sport along with many local and regional stars including Joey Logano, former Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook, Dr. Dick Berggren and many others. This year the speedway will have a booth in cooperation with Fastrak Racing and the Ultimate Super Late Model Series. Fans that come by the Virginia Motor Speedway booth (#604) will get a chance to talk with Fastrak Racing and Ultimate Super Late Model Series officials about the speedway’s Aaron’s Pro (Crate) Late Model division, this year’s Fastrak Pro Late Model and Ultimate Super Late Model special events and also see the #30 of third generation driver Tyler Bare of Rockbridge Baths, VA This year the booth (#604) will host an autograph session on Saturday January 24th from 1-3pm and will feature third generation driver Tyler Bare, his father 2-time VMS Track Champion Booper Bare and the Northeast’s winningest dirt late model driver Ricky “The Rocket” Elliott. On Sunday January 25th former VMS Champion and current Super Late Model star Austin Hubbard will be signing autographs from 12 – 2pm. 2015 REGISTRATION FORMS AND RULES NOW POSTED

Jamaica, VA – Officials of Virginia Motor Speedway have posted 2015 registration forms. Go to www.vamotorspeedway.com/forms/ to download the forms. The speedway will begin to accept registrations starting January 15th with the top twenty in each class having their number saved until February 15th when all numbers will become first come first served. Jamaica, VA – Officials of Virginia Motor Speedway are proud to announce that TireX, Inc has signed on to return as the “Title Sponsor” of the 37th Annual TireX USA 100 that will feature the Ultimate Super Late Model Series in a $10,000 to win event on Saturday May 16th. “We are extremely excited to have TireX back as the sponsor of our USA 100; Willie Mason has been a huge supporter of short track racing over the years and we are proud to be partnered with him and his great company,” commented track General Manager Clarke Sawyer. The 37th Annual TireX USA 100 will once again be sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series and will pay the winner of the 50 lap feature a cool $10,000. The two $3,000 to win, Fastrak National Bonus events will join the 2015 Fastrak World Championship in highlighting one of the country’s most exciting divisions… the Pro Late Models at one of the premier facilities in the country… Virginia Motor Speedway. “We are extremely excited to host two Fastrak National Bonus events and spotlight the great racing they provide and also give everyone a chance at some track time for the 2015 Fastrak World Championship,” commented track owner Bill Sawyer. “The chance to have them paired with our two Ultimate Super Late Model shows should offer our fans two of the best special events of the year,” added Sawyer. Jamaica, VA — Officials at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway are excited to announce the dates for the track’s two Super Late Model special events in 2015. As in past season’s the 2015 season will get the green flag with the running of the $20,000 to win King of the Commonwealth on Saturday April 11th. This year the event will be sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series. A support division is being discussed and will be announced in the next few weeks. The second special event of the season will once again be the $10,000 to win USA 100 on Saturday May 16th and will once again be sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series. The track will also host the 2015 Fastrak World Championship for Pro Late Models tentatively set for October 1-3, 2015. Look for the complete 2015 schedule to be released in the next two weeks....

Speedway Crowns 2014 Champions; Williams crowned VA Army National Guard Dirt Series Champion

Jamaica, VA – Bill Sawyers Virginia Motor Speedway wrapped up the 2014 season by recognizing the top ten in each of the track’s divisions with special attention reserved for the 2014 champions. During the night’s events almost $38,000 in cash and prizes were awarded, of that almost $32,000 was in cash. Justin Williams of Shipman, VA was crowned the 2014 Victory Lap Late Model Champion for the second year in a row and received a check for $5,000 for his efforts. Williams also received a $500 certificate from the Joie of Seating, a custom calendar from Al Goulder Photography and his Championship helmet trophy and jacket. Bobby Thompson of Concord, VA was crowned the very first Aaron’s Pro Late Model Champion. Thompson received a check for $1,000, a $500 certificate from the Joie of Seating, a custom calendar from Al Goulder Photography and his Championship helmet trophy and jacket. Brett Adkins of Gloucester, VA was crowned the 2014 Truckin Thunder Sportsman Champion for the second year in a row and received a check for $1,000 for his efforts.
