Officials of Virginia Motor Speedway will continue to closely monitor the situation in coordination with federal, state, local, and public health officials, along with information based on guidelines from the CDC to determine when it will be safe to reopen. The health and safety of our race fans and drivers is our top priority. Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway is a 1/2-mile, dirt oval. The track located on U.S. Route 17, eight miles north of Saluda, VA and 25 miles south of Tappahannock, VA in Jamaica, VA.
