$5000 TO WIN COMMONWEALTH CLASH FOR FASTRAK TOURING SERIES THIS SATURDAY, MAY 4

Jamaica, VA – The stars and cars of the FASTRAK Pro Late Model Touring Series will invade Virginia Motor Speedway for the $5000 to win Commonwealth Clash this Saturday, May 4. Many of the Mid-Atlantic’s top Pro Late Model drivers will be on hand to compete to take home the $5000 top prize. “The FASTRAK Pro Late Model races are some of the best races we host here at Virginia Motor Speedway; no matter where you look, there is always three and four-wide action throughout the field,” commented track owner and President Bill Sawyer. Also, see the tracks Budweiser Modified, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, and Collision One Limited Stocks in Dirt Series Championship weekly racing action. The extremely popular Petie’s Radiator Service JuiceBox kids division will also be in action. Competitor gates for Saturday, May 4, will open at 2 pm, with spectator gates opening at 5 pm. On track, activities will begin at 6 pm with hot laps. Adult tickets are just $25; seniors (60+)/military $20; students 13 – 17 years old $15; and children 12 and under free. Pit passes, regardless of age, will be $35. Davis Lipscombe Scores Career First Pro Late Model Win; Adkins, Heath, and Hubbard Also Grab Wins

Jamaica, VA – Davis Lipscombe of Mechanicsville, VA, led flag-to-flag in a flawless run to score his first win in the Victory Lap Pro Late Model 30 lap feature. With the field battling for position behind him, Lipscombe went unchallenged and went on to score his career-first Pro Late Model victory. “We have worked extremely hard on this Frankenstein of a car; we found something last year with this car and knew if we kept at it, we would end up here in victory lane,” commented Lipscombe in Virginia Is For Racing Lovers victory lane. Jeremy Pilkerton and Davis Lipscombe led the field to green in the Victory Lap Pro Late Model 30 lap feature. Lipscombe would grab the lead right before the races first WhosYourDriver.org caution came out. By lap 5, Lipscombe had built a 5-car length advantage over Pilkerton when the caution came out for a Garrett Donnell and Colby Bradshaw wreck. Once back under green, the battle on the track was for fifth as Billy Hubbard and Joey Love raced side-by-side for multiple laps. Lipscombe began pulling away from Pilkerton while Cory Almond and Nick Davis battled for third with the laps winding down. Pilkerton would never get close enough to make a run at the lead as Lipscombe kept a 10-car length advantage on the way to his first win of the season. Jeremy Pilkerton, Corey Almond, Nick Davis, and Joey Love rounded out the top five. In the Budweiser Modified 25-lap feature, Scott Heath of Moneta, VA, grabbed the lead from the outside of the front row on the drop of the green flag. Behind him, the battle for second was hot and heavy between Bret Hamilton, Cole Hilton, and Chase Butler. Hilton would spin on lap 15, racing with Butler for third. Butler would come to pit road for some damage to his body, relegating both to the rear of the field. Heath would never be challenged and went on to score his first victory, followed by Bret Hamilton, Joey Polevoy, Michael Pappas, and Jeff Solinger rounding out the top five. Brett Adkins of Saluda, VA, grabbed the lead on lap thirteen from Hunter Wright of Aylett, VA, in the Truckin Thunder Sportsman 25 lap feature. Adam Breen and Hunter Wright led the field to green, with Wright grabbing the lead out of turn 2. Wright would hold the top spot till lap 13 when Adkins swoet to his outside to take the lead. Once out front, Adkins would pull away and take his second win in a row. Wright, Matt Meads, Tyler Shipp, and Cole Johnston rounded out the top five. In the Joe Hudson’s Collision Centers Limited Stock Car 20 lap feature, Justin Pullen and Gregory Morgan led the field to green, with Morgan taking the lead. Week one winner Brian Hubbard took the lead on lap two as the battle for second went four-wide. With laps winding down, Hubbard, Bradley, Cleman, and Christopher Sherr all stayed within striking distance of each other. But it was Hubbard who would go on to take the win, his second win in a row. Cory Bradley, Trent Clemans, Christian Sherr, and Christopher Bryan rounded out the top five. The speedway will return to racing on Saturday, May 4, to host the FASTRAK Touring Series sanctioned $5000 to win Commonwealth Clash. Trevor Collins Takes Pro Late Model Win; Hamilton, Adkins, and Brooks Also Grab Wins. Pilkerton, Butler, Adkins and Brooks Crowned Champions

Jamaica, VA – With a great crowd in attendance for Joe Hudson’s Collision Center Championship Night, Trevor Collins of Loveville, MD, set fast time, got inverted to fourth, led the first lap, and went on to lead flag to flag to take his first career Victory Lap Pro Late Model win at Virginia Motor Speedway. “We have been trying for years to win here; we finally put it all together, and man, it feels good,” commented Collins in Virginia Is for Racing Lovers victory lane. Point leader Jeremy Pilkerton of Loveville, MD, had a close call on lap 27 of the 30-lap feature when Billy Hubbard of Cobbs Creek, VA, barreled down into turn 3 with the two banging together. Pilkerton would gather it back up, fall in behind Hubbard, and finish sixth, securing the 2023 Victory Lap Pro Late Model Championship by 3 points over Hubbard. “When I got passed by those two cars, I knew I was going to have to slow down going into turn 3 and that Hubbard was going to drive it in deep. I figured that if I just kept the car straight, I would be OK. It feels great to get this Championship,” commented Jeremy Pilkerton. Pilkerton and Hubbard led the field to green, getting together on the backstretch, with Trevor Collins getting by to take the lead with Pilkerton in second. On lap 5, Davis Lipscombe got by Pilkerton for second and set out to catch Collins. On the next lap, Lipscombe got inside Collins in turn 1, but that was the closest he would get the rest of the race. On lap 23, Lipscombe and Pilkerton battled for second as Collins pulled away. On a lap 24 restart, Pilkerton lost third to Corey Almond and fourth to Nick Davis. Heading into turn 3, Pilkerton had to get on the binders, allowing Billy Hubbard to dive in under him, with the two getting together. Hubbard would get by, with Pilkerton following right behind him. Collins would take the win, followed by Davis Lipscombe, Corey Almond, Nick Davis, and Billy Hubbard. Pilkerton was crowned the 2023 Champion, his first at Virginia Motor Speedway. The Budweiser Modified 25-lap feature came down to the last lap with point leader Chase Butler of Mechanicsville, VA, trying a slide-job on leader Bret Hamilton of Powhatan, VA in turn 3. Hamilton was able to turn back down under Butler in turn 3, making it three-wide with a lapped car as they came to the line, with Hamilton grabbing the win by .029 seconds. Rounding out the top five were Butler, Scott Heath, Michael Pappas, and Jeff Solinger. Chase Butler was crowned the 2023 Budweiser Modified Champion, his third Championship in a row. In the Truckin Thunder Sportsman 25-lap feature, Brett Adkins of Saluda, VA, took the lead from Matt Meads of Elizabeth City, NC, on lap 7. For the next 4 laps, Adkins would race side-by-side with Meads while point leader Steve Causey of Smithfield, VA, rode in third. On lap 14, Causey got past Meads to catch Adkins, who had checked out. A caution closed Causey up on the bumper of Adkins. On the restart, Causey got under Adkins, and the two raced side-by-side until back into turn 1 with one to go. Causey stayed on Adkin’s bumper heading into turn three when a car spun in front of them, bringing out the caution and checkers. Rounding out the top five were Hunter Wright, Matt Meads, and Adam Breeden. In the Joe Hudson’s Collision Center Limited Stock 20 lap feature, Johnny Brooks of Aylett, VA, took the lead from Corey Bradley of Hopewell, VA, and then held off Trent Clemans of North Prince George, VA, over the remaining laps to take his seventh win of the season. Rounding out the top five were Clemans, Gregory Morgan, Jason Speelman, and Cory Bradley. Johnny Brooks was crowned the 2023 Joe Hudson’s Collision Center Champion. JOE HUDSON’S CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT THIS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16

Jamaica, VA – Virginia Motor Speedway will return to racing this Saturday, September 16th, and host Joe Hudson’s Collision Center Championship Night. It is the final night of Dirt Series Championship weekly racing. The night will feature the Victory Lap Pro Late Model, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modified, and Collision One Limited Stock Car divisions in some exciting side-by-side action. Champions will be crowned in all four divisions. On Saturday, September 16th, competitor gates will open at 3 PM, with spectator gates opening at 5 PM. On-track activities will begin at 6:00 PM for hot laps. Features will start at 7:00 PM. Divisions scheduled to race on Saturday will be the Victory Pro Late Models (30 Laps), Budweiser Modifieds (25 Laps), Truckin Thunder Sportsman (25 laps), and the Collision One Limited Stock Cars (20 laps). All divisions will run Hot Lap Time Trials and Features. Jamaica, VA – Virginia Motor Speedway will take the next two weekends off, returning to racing on Saturday, September 16th, and host Joe Hudson’s Collision Center Championship Night. It is the final night of Dirt Series Championship weekly racing. The night will feature the Victory Lap Pro Late Model, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modified, and Collision One Limited Stock Car divisions in some exciting side-by-side action. Champions will be crowned in all four divisions. On Saturday, September 16th, competitor gates will open at 3 PM, with spectator gates opening at 5 PM. Billy Hubbard Holds off Davis Lipscombe to Take the Pro Late Model Win; Causey, Butler, and Brooks Also Visit Victory Lane

Jamaica, VA – Billy Hubbard of Cobbs Creek, VA, held off Davis Lipscombe of Mechanicsville, VA, in the Victory Lap Pro Late Model 30 lap feature at Virginia Motor Speedway to become the sixth different winner of the 2023 season. Lipscombe got to the outside of Hubbard three times between laps fifteenth and seventeen before Hubbard moved up into Lipscombe’s line and found it to his liking as well. Hubbard would stretch out his lead and go on to take the win. “We have been trying so hard to get to victory lane; once Lipscombe got to my outside, I moved up and found his line worked for my car as well,” commented an emotional Hubbard in Virginia Is for Racing Lovers victory lane. Derek Magee and Hubbard led the field to green, with Hubbard taking the lead out of turn 2. Behind him, the battle for second went 3-wide between Magee, Lipscombe and point leader Jeremy Pilkerton. Magee would emerge with the spot, with Lipscombe working the high line, looking for a way around him. On lap 4, it looked like Libscombe would take the spot, but Magee would defend the spot until Lipscombe rocketed by him in turns one and two on lap 9 to take second. Lipscombe would then set out to reel in Hubbard, who had almost a full straight lead. By lap 17, Lipscombe had closed that distance and was looking to get by for the lead. Using the high line, Lipscombe would get side-by-side with Hubbard for two laps before falling back into second place. Hubbard went on to take the win, with Davis Lipscombe, Derek Magee, Jeremy Pilkerton, and Corey Almond rounding out the top five. In the Budweiser Modified 25-lap feature, Bret Hamilton and Chase Butler led the field to green. Heading into turn two, the battle for the lead went 4-wide briefly between Hamilton, Butler, Russell Erwin, and Michael Pappas. Hamilton would lead Butler into turn 3, where Butler put a slide job on him to take the lead out of turn 4. On lap 9, Erwin began looking to the outside of Butler for the lead. The two traded the lead back and forth for the next three laps before Erwin rocketed around Butler for the lead on lap 13 to take the lead. Erwin was pulling away when his car slowed in turn 2, ending his night, handing the lead back to Butler. Once out front, Butler paced the field with the battle for second raging behind him. Butler would go on to take his fourth win of the season, followed to the checkers by Jeff Solinger, Bret Hamilton, Tim Schulte, and Doug Penny. In the Truckin Thunder Sportsman 25-lap feature, Steve Causey of Smithfield, VA, came from his fourth-place starting spot to grab the lead out of turn 4. Once out front, Causey pulled away from the field and the battle for second. On lap 7 behind him, Hunter Wright, Brett Adkins, and Matt Meads went 3-wide in turn 2 for second. Wright would wrestle the spot away and try to catch the leader, Causey. Causey would go on to take his first win of 2023. First Raymond Harper, then leader Cory Bradley. Once Brooks took the lead, he pulled away for his sixth win of the season, followed by Corey Bradley, Raymond Harper, Trent Clemans, and Justin Pullen. Speedway to Host Week 11 of Dirt Series Championship Weekly Racing Tonight, Saturday, August 26th

Jamaica, VA – Virginia Motor Speedway will return to weekly racing tonight, Saturday, August 26th, and host week 11 of Dirt Series Championship weekly racing featuring the Victory Lap Pro Late Model, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modified, and Collision One Limited Stock Car divisions in some exciting side-by-side action. On Saturday, August 26th, competitor gates will open at 3 PM, with spectator gates opening at 5 PM. On-track activities will begin at 5:45 PM for hot laps. Features will start at 7 PM. Divisions scheduled to race on Saturday will be the Victory Pro Late Models (30 Laps), Budweiser Modifieds (25 Laps), Truckin Thunder Sportsman (25 laps), and the Collision One Limited Stock Cars (20 laps). All divisions will run Hot Lap Time Trials and Features. Corey Almond and Derek Magee Split Pro Late Model Wins; Brett Adkins, Bret Hamilton, and Johnny Brooks all Return to Victory Lane

Jamaica, VA – Corey Almond of Appomattox, VA, and Derek Magee of Millsboro, DE, split Twin 17 lap wins in the Victory Lap Pro Late Models at Virginia Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 19, during week 10 of Dirt Series Championship weekly racing. In the first 17-lap feature, Billy Hubbard and Corey Almond led the field to green, with Hubbard grabbing the lead out of turn 2. On the next circuit, Almond dove under Hubbard to race side-by-side out of turn 2. Out of turn 4, Almond took the lead over Hubbard at the line. Behind the leaders, the battle for third is going strong between Chuck Bowie, Derek Magee, and Nick Davis. Point leader Jeremy Pilkerton would work his way back to the battle for fifth by lap eight after spinning on lap 3. With the laps winding down, Hubbard tried several times to get by Almond for the lead, the last time coming to the checkered flag with Almond holding on to take the win. Hubbard, Derek Magee, Jeremy Pilkerton, and Chuck Bowie would round out the top five. After a five-car invert, Chuck Bowie and Jeremy Pilkerton would lead the field to green, with Bowie sliding up the track and allowing Derek Magee to get to the inside, taking the lead at the line. Once at front, Magee began to pull away from Bowie, who had Hubbard working to get second. On lap 7, Bowie slid up the track in turn 2 to give Hubbard the space he needed to take second. Hubbard could never mount of charge for the lead as Magee kept a great pace and went on to win in his first time at the track. Rounding out the top five were Hubbard, Bud Stinson, Chuck Bowie, and Corey Almond. In the Truckin Thunder 25 lap feature, Adam Breeden of Standardsville, VA, and Tim Shelton of Fredericksburg, VA, led the field to green, with Shelton taking the lead out of turn 2. Shelton pulled away from the battle for second between Matt Meads of Elizabeth City, NC, Breeden, and Bret Adkins of Saluda, VA. Adkins would work his way into second and set out to catch Shelton. By lap 9, Adkins had cut the lead to a car length. As the two raced into turn 1, Shelton would blow a motor handing the lead to Adkins. Once out front, Adkins would comfortably go on to take his third win of the season over Steve Causey, Adam Breeden, Tommy Upshaw, and Blake Adkins. In the Budweiser Modified 25-lap feature, Bret Hamilton of Powhatan, VA, grabbed the lead from Sam Lamborgini of Hayes, VA, on lap two with an outside move in turn 2. Once out front Hamilton would pull away and go on to grab his second win of the season. Rounding out the top five were Brent Bordeaux, current point leader Chase Butler, who finished on three tires, Sam Lamborgini, and Tim Schulte. In the Joe Hudson’s Collision Centers Limited Stock 20 lap feature, Jacob Buie and Cory Bradley led the field to green, with Bradley taking the lead. Johnny Brooks had to start eighth after winning the last two races, but that fact didn’t keep him from the front very long as he grabbed the lead on lap 5 from Bradley. Once out front, he had to survive three restarts after cautions to go on a take his fifth win of the season. Rounding out the top five were Bradley, Brain Maxey, Justin Pullen, and Trent Clemans. Logan Roberson Scores Pro Late Model Victory; Hubbard, Butler, Shelton, and Maxey Crowned 2022 Champions

Jamaica, VA – Logan Roberson of Waynesboro, VA, made his trip to Virginia Motor Speedway for some FASTRAK World Championship practice count, and in a big way. Roberson rocketed past Austin Hubbard of Bridgeville, DE, for the lead on lap 21 and then pulled away from the field to go on to grab the win in the Victory Lap Pro Late Model 30-lap feature. “It’s always great to get a win here; we feel really good about our chances in the upcoming $50,000 to win FASTRAK World Championship in September,” commented Roberson in Virginia Is For Racing Lovers victory lane. With his runner-up finish, Hubbard was crowned the 2022 Victory Lap Pro Late Model, his second at Virginia Motor Speedway. Austin Hubbard jumped to the lead on the drop of the green flag and looked to have the race with Trevor Collins close in second. By lap 10 Logan Roberson had moved into second and was closing on the leader. It looked like Hubbard would have enough to hold off Roberson that was until lap 21 when Roberson rocketed past for the lead out of turn 2. Once out front, Roberson pulled away from the field and went on to score the win by 4.995 seconds. Rounding out the top 5 were Hubbard, Ray Love Jr., Trevor Collins, and Nick Davis. In the Budweiser Modified 25-lap feature Joey Polevoy of Powhatan, VA, led flag to flag to score his second win of the season. Polevoy jumped to the lead on the drop of the green flag with Lance Grady in tow. On lap 3 point leader Chase Butler had a bit of a scare spinning to bring out the first caution of the race. On lap 12, Bret Hamilton would take second from Grady and set out to catch the leader. Polevoy would hold off Hamilton for the win. Rounding out the top 5 were Chase Butler, Lance Grady, and Brent Bordeaux. Rebounding from his lap four spin, Chase Butler of Mechanicsville, VA, was crowned the 2022 Budweiser Modified Champion for the second year in a row. Butler was the only driver in the modified division to finish in the top 5 in each race. Davis Lipscombe of Mechanicsville, VA, returned to the Truckin Thunder Sportsman division with one goal to pick up the win. The division’s 2021 champion did just that, getting by Matt Meads of Elizabeth City, NC, on lap 10. With seven laps to go, Tim Shelton of Fredericksburg, VA, had made his way back to the runner-up spot. With five laps to go, Shelton would try to get inside Lipscombe in turn 1, only to have Lipscombe use the high-side to his advantage to hold on to the top spot. Lipscombe would go on to take the win and keep Shelton from matching his perfect record set in 2021. Rounding out the top five were Shelton, Matt Meads, Adam Breeden, and James Givens. Shelton would be crowned the 2022 Truckin Thunder Champion finishing no worse than second during the 2022 season. It took Johnny Brooks of Aylett, VA, eight laps to work his way to the lead in the Collision One Limited Stock Car 20-lap feature from his sixth place starting position. Once out front, Brooks would go on to score his third win of the season. Brooks would get by Ryan Hutchens on lap 8 with an inside move out of turn 2. Brian Maxey would close in on the leader with laps winding down but would be involved in a caution ending his night. Brooks would go on to score the win over Ryan Hutchens, Cory Bradley, Jacob Buie, and Brandon Bowler. Brian Maxey of King George, VA, would be crowned the 2022 Collision One Limited Stock Car Champion. The next event for the speedway will be the $50,000 to win FASTRAK World Championship presented by Dealer Group USA, set for September 23-24, 2022. The highest-paying Pro Late Model event will attract some of the top drivers in the country to the ½-mile speed plant located in Jamaica, VA. The format for the event will include practice, qualifying, and heats on Friday, September 23, and B Mains and feature on Saturday, September 24. Jamaica, VA – The stars and cars of the FASTRAK Pro Late Model Touring Series will invade Virginia Motor Speedway for the $3000 to win Prelude to the World Championship. Many of the Mid-Atlantic’s top Pro Late Model drivers will be on hand to not only take home the $3000 top prize but also get some valuable track time for the $50,000 to win FASTRAK World Championship set for September 23-24, 2022. “What this essentially boils down to is a paid practice for Pro Late Model competitors for our upcoming $50,000 to win FASTRAK World Championship presented by Dealer Group USA,” commented track owner and President Bill Sawyer.
