TWO-DAY TICKETS FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP NOW ON SALE

Jamaica, VA – Speedway officials are happy to announce that fans can now purchase two-day tickets for the September 13-14, 2019 FASTRAK World Championship presented by James River Equipment at Virginia Motor Speedway. The two-day tickets will allow fans to save up to $15 over the single-day ticket pricing. The $50,000 to win event will make history as the richest Pro Late Model event in history. Not only will fans get to see the country’s best Pro Late Model drivers duke it out for the $50,000 top prize, the Mid-Atlantic’s best UMP Modified drivers will be competing in a $6000 to win and $600 to start event. Credit card purchases for the two-day tickets are made over the phone by calling 804-758-1867 between the hours of 9 am – 4 pm Monday through Friday. The speedway accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. There will be a $3 charge per credit card order. Fans can also buy tickets at the speedway office during the same time frame. Two-day ticket pricing for the FASTRAK World Championship will see adults $45, seniors (60+) $40, military $35, students (13-17) $20 and children 12 and under free. All tickets are general admission seating. Pit passes (regardless of age) are $50 and get you a seat in the grandstands. Spectator gates will open at 5 pm on Friday and 4 pm on Saturday, September with hot laps beginning at 6 pm on Friday and 7 pm on Saturday. Friday’s schedule of events will include practice and two rounds of heat races for the FASTRAK Pro Late Model competitors and practice, qualifying and heats for the UMP Modified competitors. Saturday’s schedule of event will include B Mains, the $50,000 to win feature and up to four non-qualifier races for the Pro Late Model competitors and B Mains and $6000 to win feature for the UMP Modified competitors. A Sunday, September 15 rain date has been established should it be needed. Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway is a 1/2-mile, dirt oval. The track is on U.S. Route 17, eight miles north of Saluda, VA and 25 miles south of Tappahannock, VA in Jamaica, VA.
