Jamaica, VA – The much anticipated FASTRAK World Championship presented by James River Equipment gets the green flag tonight. Track officials are busy preparing the facilities for what is expected to be a record car count. This race will put the spotlight squarely on the country’s best Pro Late Model drivers and this year the stakes are higher as the winner’s share is $20,000. The FASTRAK World Championship presented by James River Equipment is open to all Pro Late Model competitors. In the event of rain, Sunday September 17th is currently scheduled as the rain date. The Southeast Dirt Modified Series will also crown their champion in their final event of the in the $3000 to win Southeast Modified Championship. The modifieds will run their $3000 to win, 30 lap feature tonight. Admission for Saturday’s FASTRAK World Championship are adults $30, senior and military $25, students (11-17) $15 and children 10 and under free. Bring your Friday night ticket stub and receive $5 off your Saturday general admission ticket. Discount is not good for pit passes. The event will also be broadcast LIVE on the internet by FloRacing.
