16TH Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog Set for Saturday, October 7th

<strong>Jamaica, VA – </strong>Just when you think you witnessed the biggest event in the facility’s history, The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway steps it up one more notch on the excitement meter. To say officials are excited and anxiously awaiting the running of the 16th Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog, presented by Breezeline and WhosYourDriver.org, would be an understatement. The Pit is bringing the Premier Mega Truck Racing Series back for some intense head-to-head mega truck racing action, and it will be bigger and better than in May. There will also be four Hill-N-Hole divisions competing in the State’s most challenging mud pit. Competitors are encouraged to visit <a href=”http://www.thepitatvms.com”>www.thepitatvms.com</a> for the rules packages and payouts. The Premier Mega Trucks will be racing side-by-side in a bracket format on the short course. Some of the biggest names in the business will be on hand to see who will become King of the Pit. This event will be a non-points race for the Premier Mega Truck Racing Series, with a large number of trucks already saying they will be here in attendance. There will again be two Kids Power Wheels divisions, Box Stock and Unlimited. Parents will need to register their children before 11:30 am. Gates and registration will open at 9 am for Premier Mega Truck Racing, Kings of Superstreet Mud Racing Series, Pro Stock, Modified, and Pro Mod classes, with the mud bog beginning at noon. Jamaica, VA – The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway will host the first of two mud bogs for the 2015 season on Saturday June 20, 2015. The 8th Annual Down & Dirty Mud Mayhem presented by James River Equipment will kick off the 11th season for The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway. Additional sponsorship provided by Aaron’s, Atkins Petroleum & Propane, Kalbone’s Speed & Off Road, After Hours Fabrication, Collision One and Truckin Thunder. There will be nine classes of “Mud Maniacs” in action ranging from super stock to unlimited with cash payouts in all classes. Competitors are encouraged to visit www.thepitatvms.com for the rules packages and payouts. Not only will fans get to see hordes of trucks splashing through the 200 foot Mud Bog pit but they will also get the opportunity to see some of the regions best Mud Dragsters covering the 200 foot Mud Sling pit in under three seconds. Gates and registration will open at 9am with single eliminations for Super Stock A, B; Modified A (Small tire), B (Big Tire), Unlimited Bog, Pro Modified A, Pro Modified B and X, XX classes beginning at 12 noon. Mud Mayhem 4 Mud Bog Provides Great Day of Mud Bogging at The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway

Jamaica, VA – The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway hosted the first of two Mud Bog and Mud Sling’s for the 2013 season this past Saturday June 22nd. The Mud Mayhem 4 Mud Bog and Mud Sling presented by James River Equipment / Rappahannock Tractor and the Virginia Army National Guard and in part by Davis off Road, ORI of Richmond, Truckin Thunder, Collision One and Monster Energy Drink drew a huge crowd and great field of competitors at the state of the art mud bog facility in Jamaica, VA. The sunny temperatures and sunny skies provided a tremendous day for mud bogging. 89 different competitors took turns at the state of the art 200 foot pit for a total of 170 completed passes. Winners in each class: Stock A – “Mudiva” Tanya Ricks in Hell On Heels becoming The Pit’s first female competitor to win a division did it again; Stock B – “Mudiva” Tanya Ricks in Hell On Heels; Modified A – George Johnson in Gold Digger 2; Modified B – Derek Bell in Slim Pickins; Modified C – Shawn Turner in Mr. Nasty Time; Pro Mod – Clint Saunders in Muddy Money; Unlimited Bog – Ray Atkins in Haulin Gas; X Cuts – Chris Newton in Hostile Projectile; and XX Paddles – Chris Newton in Hostile Projectile. Frank Embry in Tadpole Express took top Nitrous/Non-blower bonus in both the X Cut class and XX Paddle class.
