Speedway to Host Northern Neck Chevrolet / Collision One Night to Benefit Northern Neck Food Bank Saturday August 26

Jamaica, VA – The speedway will return to racing Saturday August 26, 2017 to host Northern Neck Chevrolet | Collision One Back to School Night and week 12 of the Aaron’s Dirt Series Championship Weekly Racing season featuring the Victory Lap Pro Late Models, Budweiser Modifieds, Truckin Thunder Sportsman and Collision One Limited Stock Cars in action.

Saturday August 26th the speedway, along with its sponsors, will be collecting food and donations for FeedMore and the Northern Neck Food Bank. For every five (5) non-perishable food items donated race fans will receive one (1) FREE general admission ticket to the night’s racing. There is no limit on the number of tickets you can get free. For a list of suggested food items please visit the track website or visit www.feedmore.org and click on Food Drive. The shelves at the local food banks are really bare at this time of year and we encourage everyone to bring as many items as they can to donate.

The speedway will also be handing out backpacks, while supplies last, courtesy of ChildHelp to every child that comes to the front gate between the hours of 5pm and 8pm. It is estimated we have over 3000 back packs to give out. All kids in the community are encouraged to come get a back pack.

“Childhelp is proud to partner with Virginia Motor Speedway to provide back to school backpacks to children in the Middlesex and surrounding school districts commented Wade Hardman of ChildHelp.

Admission: Five (5) non-perishable food items equals one (1) FREE general admission ticket. For all others admission price for Adults $12, seniors (60+) $10; military (active/retired w/ proper I.D.) $8, students 11 – 17 years old $6 and children 10 and under admitted free. Pit passes will be $20.
