Jamaica, VA – The 11th Annual Down & Dirty Run-A-Muck Mud Bog presented by James River Equipment and Commonwealth Motorsports drew a huge crowd out for what turned out to be an amazing day of racing. The enthusiastic crowd was treated to some incredible runs in both the mud bog and mud sling pits. After having four records broken during the June 20th Mud Mayhem Mud Bog no one expected to see multiple records tumble again. But when the day was done three division track records were broken with each one coming with a $100 bonus courtesy of the E&E Caulking sponsored Tapole’s Break the Record Challenge. In the Aaron’s Pro Mod B division Denny Kerley in Snoot set a new record with a run of 4.079 seconds. In the Down and Dirty Unlimited Bog division the record was broken three times with Denny Kerley in Snoot setting the final time with a 3.514 seconds. New York’s Kelly Odell in Under Pressure returned from his record setting runs during the June mud bog to lower the record once again in the James River Equipment X Cut division with a blistering 2.089 second run.

Overall 86 different competitors took turns at the state of the art 200 foot pit for a total of 172 registered passes.

Winners in each class: Super Stock A – Derek Adkins in Bad Mannerz; Super Stock B – Kyle Slaughter in Step-A-Side; Modified A – Trey Moody in Barely Legal; Modified B – Brian Vick in Pick Pocket; Pro Mod A – Kevin Click; Pro Mod B – Denny Kerley in Snoot; Unlimited Bog – Denny Kerley in Snoot; X Class & XX Class – Kelly Odell in Under Pressure.

No one was able to collect on the Atkins Petroleum & Propane “King of the Hill Double Down Bonus that was offered again to anyone that could win both the A & B classes in the Super Stock, Modified or Pro Mod divisions.
