Speedway Has Successful Weekend at Motorsports 2011; Commonwealth 100 Tickets On Sale

Jamaica, VA - The speedway's booth at the Motorsports 2011 show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center was a huge hit with fans and competitors. Thank you to everyone that came by the booth to visit with us and for all the wonderful comments about our speedway. A huge thank you to Austin Hubbard and Bruce Kane who provided cars for the booth and did autographs and also to World of Outlaws Late Model driver Rick Eckert and 2010 Steel Block Bandits Champion Walker Arthur for their participation in the autograph sessions.

The second Annual Commonwealth 100 is just around the corner (April 15th & 16th, 2011) so get your tickets early and save money in the process!

$25,000 will go to the winner of the two-day event, which will offer a cash purse totaling over $125,000. The Commonwealth 100 will pay $2,000 to start, and a 30-lap Non-Qualifiers’ Race will boast a $3,000 first-place award from a purse of nearly $16,000.

Time trials and heat races will be run on Fri., April 15th, with B-mains, non-qualifiers races and the Commonwealth 100 on Sat., April 16th. A rain date of Sun., April 17th, has been established for the event.
