Mud Mayhem 4 Mud Bog Provides Great Day of Mud Bogging at The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway

Jamaica, VA – The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway hosted the first of two Mud Bog and Mud Sling’s for the 2013 season this past Saturday June 22nd. The Mud Mayhem 4 Mud Bog and Mud Sling presented by James River Equipment / Rappahannock Tractor and the Virginia Army National Guard and in part by Davis off Road, ORI of Richmond, Truckin Thunder, Collision One and Monster Energy Drink drew a huge crowd and great field of competitors at the state of the art mud bog facility in Jamaica, VA. The sunny temperatures and sunny skies provided a tremendous day for mud bogging. 89 different competitors took turns at the state of the art 200 foot pit for a total of 170 completed passes. Winners in each class: Stock A – “Mudiva” Tanya Ricks in Hell On Heels becoming The Pit’s first female competitor to win a division did it again; Stock B – “Mudiva” Tanya Ricks in Hell On Heels; Modified A – George Johnson in Gold Digger 2; Modified B – Derek Bell in Slim Pickins; Modified C – Shawn Turner in Mr. Nasty Time; Pro Mod – Clint Saunders in Muddy Money; Unlimited Bog – Ray Atkins in Haulin Gas; X Cuts – Chris Newton in Hostile Projectile; and XX Paddles – Chris Newton in Hostile Projectile. Frank Embry in Tadpole Express took top Nitrous/Non-blower bonus in both the X Cut class and XX Paddle class. MUD BOG HUGE SUCCESS

Jamaica, VA – The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway hosted the 8th Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog, Mud Sling and Truck Show presented by James River / Rappahannock Tractor, Virginia Army National Guard and in part by Davis Off Road, Monster Energy Drink, After Hours Fabrication, Truckin Thunder and ORI of Richmond this past Saturday October 6th breaking records in both competitor participation and fans in attendance. The cool temperatures and partly sunny skies provided a tremendous day for mud bogging. Overall 137 different competitors took turns at the state of the art 200 foot pit for a total of 271 total passes. Adding to the excitement Steve Sims in Stone Crusher and Maxey Broadus in Walking Tall put on a fantastic freestyle monster truck show for the fans with some high flying maneuvers. The “Master of Disaster” himself Dennis Anderson brought out his newest creation King Sling and thrilled the crowd with a performance that only Dennis Anderson could pull off. Winners in each class: Stock A – “Mudiva” Tanya Ricks in Hell On Heels; Stock B – David Mizell in Tetnus Shot; Modified A – George Johnson in Gold Digger 2; Modified B – George Johnson in Gold Digger; Modified C – Ray Adkins in Haulin Gas; Pro Mod – Clint Saunders in Muddy Money; Unlimited Bog – Herby Dorsett in Jus Playin’; X Cuts – Clarke Sawyer in Anxious; and XX Paddles – Travis Shoemaker in Highroller 4. Melvin Deavers in Neighborhood Nuisance took top Nitrous/Non-blower bonus in the X Cuts class while Travis Shoemaker in High Roller 4 took top Nitrous/Non-blower bonus in the XX Paddle class. In the Chuck Engel Memorial Truck Show James Fosher III of Newport News, VA won Best Chevrolet; Mike Gunter of Chesterfield, VA won Best Ford; Don Coates of Glucester, VA won Best Dodge; Calvin Rhodes of Saluda, VA won Best Off Road; James Powell / Ronnie Coates of Hayes, VA won Best Paint; Chris Perdue won Best Interior; John Zollinger of Millersville, MD won Best Suspension; Taylor Bukoski of Mechanicsville, VA won Best In Progress; Katherine Campbell of Urbanna, VA won Best Engineered; Trace Burgess of Kill Devil Hills, NC won Best of Show and the People’s Choice Award went to the late Chuck Engel. Record Crowd for 7th Annual Run A Muck Mud Bog And Mud Sling at The Pit

Jamaica, VA – The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway hosted the 7th Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling presented by James River / Rappahannock Tractor, Virginia Army National Guard and in part by Davis Off Road, Monster Energy Drink, NAPA of King William, Truckin Thunder and ORI of Richmond this past Saturday October 1st to a record crowd. The event also boasted another large field of competitors featuring not only some of the areas top mud trucks in a very tough mud pit but also the very popular 1500 horsepower mud dragsters in the mud sling pit. If that wasn’t enough the fans were also treated to an awesome monster truck freestyle show by Equalizer and fans also witnessed the first performance of Dennis Anderson’s King Sling at a track other than Anderson’s own Muddy Motorsports Park. The cool temperatures and partly sunny skies provided a tremendous day for mud bogging.
