Jamaica, VA – It took seven laps for Defending Victory Lap Pro Late Model Champion Justin Williams of Concord, VA to grab the lead from Matt Quade of Mechanicsville, MD and once out front pulled away from the field to score his second win in a row on Northern Neck Chevrolet Night at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway. It looked as if Quade might have something for the field as he held off Williams for the first six laps, a small mistake in turn 2 by Quade was all Williams needed to grab the lead. Once out front Williams cruised to the victory. “We faded a little there at the end but we able to hold on for the win; it is going to tough to defend this Championship, Me a Tyler (Bare) race pretty good together and hopefully we can race clean the rest of the year,” commented Williams in WhosYourDriver.org Victory Lane.
