Speedway Releases Purses for Aaron’s King of the Commonwealth and Fastrak National Bonus Race

Jamaica, VA — Officials at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway have released complete purse information for both the $20,000 to win Aaron’s King of the Commonwealth and the $3000 to win Fastrak Prp Late Model “National Bonus Event” to be held on Saturday April 11, 2015 at the 1/2 mile speed plant in Jamaica, VA. The Aaron’s King of Commonwealth will feature practice, group qualifying, heats, B-Mains (if needed) and a 60 lap feature to crown this year’s champion that will walk away with a $20,000 pay day. The Fastrak Pro (Crate) Late Model “National Bonus Event” will feature practice, group qualifying, heats, B-Mains (if needed) and a 40 lap feature and pay the winner $3000. Both events are expected to bring some of the regions top late models drivers to compete for the big money. Entry fees for both events have been set at $105 and pit passes will be $40. Jamaica, VA – The buzz surrounding the Aaron’s King of the Commonwealth has prompted track owner Bill Sawyer to once again offer the fans an exceptional “Fan Friendly” ticket pricing package for the $20,000 to win, one-day show on Saturday April 11, 2015. This year’s event will be sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series and will also feature at $3000 to win Fastrak Pro Late Model “National Bonus” event. “I think it’s important that we look after the working man’s pocketbook, to make it affordable for him to be able to come to Virginia Motor Speedway for our biggest show of the year. We want to put a very good ticket price out there and hopefully do the volume of numbers coming through the gate,” commented Track owner Bill Sawyer. Adult tickets will be priced at $30; seniors (60+) $27; military (active or retired) $25 and students (11-17) just $12; and children 6 and under are free. All tickets are general admission. No reserved seats will be sold for the event. Pit passes for the event will be priced at $40.
