Speedway Re-instates Brian Dobie’s modified win after Rules Clarification
Jamaica, VA – After reviewing the 2012 Modified rules for claiming, officials have determined that a mistake was made in the claim process by taking a check as payment. Section 15.1 of the 2012 rule book states that the claim must be made in cash at the time of the claim. Because of this oversight by the track staff the disqualification of the Brian Dobie for not excepting the claim has been overturned and the win has been re-instated.
