Twin Feature Night Produces Nine winners in Ten Races

Jamaica, VA – It was a tale of two stories in the Victory Lap Late Model twin features at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway with one driver getting his first win in ten years and the other continuing his domination of the division. In the first feature John Staton of Chesapeake, VA returned to victory lane after a ten year absence, holding off Justin Williams of Shipman, VA for the win. In the second 15 lap feature Justin Williams dominated the event for his fifth win of the season. In other action Matt Quade of Mechanicsville, MD took out the broom and swept both Budweiser Modified features. In the Aaron’s Pro Late Model division Daniel Baggerly of Rural Retreat, VA scored his second win of the season and Joe Ender of Glen Allen, VA picked up his first win in the division. In the Truckin Thunder Sportsman division James Snead of Fredericksburg, VA picked up his career first victory and Hunter Shelton of Fredericksburg, VA scored his fourth win of the season. And in the Collision One Limited Stock Car division James Givens of Highland Springs, VA went flag to flag to get the win and Shawn Otey of Aylett, VA took over the lead on lap 3 on way to his first win of the season. In the first 15 lap feature for the Victory Lap Late Models John Staton and David Steel led the field to green with Staton taking the lead out of turn 2. On the next circuit Walker Arthur began his assault for the lead. On lap 8 Arthur used a slide job out of turn 4 to take over the top spot. Once out front Arthur began to pull away until a caution on lap 12 when Arthur ran over some debris sending him to the infield with a flat right rear tire handing the lead back to Staton. On the restart Justin Williams powered his way to second and looked inside and outside for a way around Staton. On the final lap Williams tried one last time out of turn 4 but Staton held on to take the win. Williams, Billy Hubbard, Stephen Childress and Buck Roadcap rounded out the top five. In the second 15 lap feature for the Victory Lap Late Models Justin Williams made sure it didn’t come down to the last lap as he took over the top spot from Petie Coffey on lap 2 then dominated the remaining laps to score his fifth win of the season. John Staton, Buck Roadcap, Stephen Childress and Anthony Kincaid rounded out the top five. Daniel Baggerly earned the victory in the first fifteen lap feature for the Aaron’s Pro Late Models as he worked his way from his seventh place starting position to take over the lead on lap 11 and go on to take the win. On the start Tyler Bare took the lead and looked as if he would run away with the win as the rest of the field tussled over the second spot. Baggerly finally muscled his way to second on lap 7 and began to reel in the leader. On lap 10 bare slide up turn 4 just enough to let Baggerly get by for the lead. Once out front Baggerly went unchallenged as he picked up his second win of the season. Walker Arthur, Neal Hudgins, Brad Rigdon and Bobby Thompson rounded out the top five. It took a couple of tries to get the second 15 lap feature for the Aaron’s Pro Late Models under way. Once under green Joe Ender grabbed the lead and looked like he would go unchallenged for the win. A caution with two to go changed that scenario as the field was bunched back on Enders bumper. On the restart Walker Arthur began working on Ender for the lead getting to his outside on the exit of turn 2. At the white flag Ender had both Arthur and Daniel Baggerly within striking distance. As the three exited turn 4 Ender would hold on to take his first win in the division. Arthur, Baggerly, Neal Hudgins and Davis Lipscombe rounded out the top five. James Snead and Davey Pullen led the Truckin Thunder Sportsman to the green in the first 15 lap feature with Snead grabbing the lead out of turn 2. Once out front Snead pulled away from the rest of the field and went flag to flag to score his career first win at Virginia Motor Speedway. In the second 15 lap feature for the Truckin Thunder Sportsman Hunter Shelton grabbed the lead on lap 4 and never looked back dominating the rest of the feature to pick up his fourth win of the season with Junior Carter, Davey Pullen, Brett Adkins and Jeremiah Marshall rounding out the top five. It took seven laps for Matt Quade to take over the lead and once out front Quade set sail to take his sixth win of the season. Joey Polevoy and Brandon Galloway led the field to green with Polevoy grabbing the lead. Quade would work his way to second by the second circuit and started to apply pressure on Polevoy for the lead. Quade tried several times to get inside Polevoy and on lap 6 finally pulled to his inside taking the lead at the line. Once out front Quade pulled away for the win with Polevoy, Brian Maxey, Josh Harris and Matt Marshall rounding out the top five. In the second 15 lap feature for the Budweiser Modifieds it was much of the same as Matt Quade took over the lead from Josh Harris with a pass out of turn 4 to take the lead on lap 6. Once out front Quade pulled away to score his seventh win of the season and for the second time this season he swept both features in one night. Taylor Doggett worked his way up from his fourteenth place starting position to grab second on the last lap with Davey Pullen, Brett Adkins and Hunter Shelton rounded out the top five. In the first 12 lap feature for the Collision One Limited Stock Cars James Givens took the lead on the drop of the green flag and never looked back as he went flag to flag to pick up the win. Shawn Otey, Brandon Sandridge, Brian Bradley and Ben Lowery rounded out the top five. In the second 12 lap feature Shawn Otey took the lead on lap 3 when Andrew Tarbox slowed with mechanical issues. Once out front only a caution on lap 8 could slow Otey. On the final restart Otey pulled away from the field as Brandon Sandridge and James Givens battled for second. Otey would go on to take the win with Sandridge, Givens, Brian Bradley and Ryan Hutchens rounding out the top five. Williams, Quade, Doggett and Childress Sweep their divisions ; Baggerly and Arthur split Pro Late Model Wins

Jamaica, VA – It was a night like no other at Virginia Motor Speedway as four drivers dominated in their respective divisions by sweeping both features on Safety-Kleen Night. Justin Williams (Victory Lap Late Models), Matt Quade (Budweiser Modified), Taylor Doggett (Truckin Thunder Sportsman) and Stephen Childress (Collision One Limited Stocks) all swept features. Also picking up wins were Daniel Baggerly (Aaron’s Pro Late Models) and Walker Arthur (Aaron’s Pro Late Models). In the first 15 lap feature for the Victory Lap Late Models Joe Ender grabbed the lead on the start and led for the first 5 laps. On lap 6 Justin Williams took away the lead with a strong pass out of turn 2. Once out front Williams motored on to a full straight win over Joe Ender, John Staton who set a new division track record in qualifying, Tim Shelton and Tommy Hoy rounding out the top five. It was bit harder in the second 15 lap feature as Justin Williams had to battle Tim Shelton for the win. The two dueled for the top sport trading the lead four times in the process. A lap 13 bobble in turn 1 cost Shelton a possible win as Williams drove under him to go to the win and sweep the night. Daniel Baggerly started the evening by breaking his own track record for the third time in the AaronPro Late Models. In the first 15 lap feature it took Baggerly four laps to climb from his fourth place starting position to take the lead from Bobby Thompson. Once out front Baggerly would dominate the remainder of the race to score his first victory of the season. Thompson, Mitchell Colby, Walker Arthur and Davis Lipscombe rounded out the top five. Baggerly inverted the top six with the pill pull. In the second Aaron’s Pro Late Model feature Mitchell Coble led the first lap before handing it over to Walker Arthur when his car pushed up the track in lap 2. The race then was between Arthur and Daniel Baggerly asthey battled for the top spot until Baggerly spun in turn four sending him to the rear for the restart. On the restart Arthur pulled away from Colby with Baggerly working his way through traffic. No one had anything for Arthur over the closing laps as he went on to pick up the win with Colby, Bobby Thompson, Baggerly and Davis Lipscombe rounding out the top five. The first Truckin Thunder Sportsman 15 lap feature came down to a two car battle between Taylor Doggett and Brett Adkins. Doggett took the top spot from Hunter Ashworth on a lap 6 restart; he then had to hold off Adkins over the remaining 9 laps. Adkins made one last attempt on the final lap when he tried the outside of Doggett in turn 3, Doggett was able to hold off the challenge and collect his first division win since 2012. Adkins, Ashworth, Davey Pullen and Macy Causey rounded out the top five. Doggett inverted the top 6 with the pill pull. The second Truckin Thunder Sportsman 15 lap feature saw 12 year old Macy Causey lead the first nine laps before having Taylor Doggett get by for the top spot. Jeremiah Marshall would follow to second with Causey falling back to third. Once out front no one had anything for the returning 2012 Truckin Thunder Sportsman Champion in his first race back after a year and a half layoff. Marshall, Causey, Chad Beahr and Hunter Ashworth rounded out the top five. It took a couple of starts to get the first Budweiser Modified 15 lap feature underway, once racing it was Josh Harris taking control of the top spot with Matt Quade working his way to second from eighth. It didn’t take Quade long to grab the lead as on the next lap he rocketed past Harris to grab the top spot. A late caution on lap 11 bunched the field back up behind Quade for the restart. On the restart Quade just walked away from the field to score his third win in a row. Josh Harris, Matt Marshall, Travis LaRoque and Brandon Galloway rounded out the top five. In the second Budweiser Modified 15 lap feature it was much the of the same as Matt Quade worked his way to the front from his eighth place starting position to take the lead away from Brandon Galloway on lap 4. Once out front the Quade walked away to the win. Polevoy, Harris, Matt Marshall and Travis LaRoque rounded out the top five. In the first Collision One Limited Stock Car 12 lap feature Ryan Hutchens and James Givens lead the field to green but it was Shawn Otey who would lead the first lap with Givens and Stephen Childress in tow. On lap 7 the top three where nose to tail pushing each other down the backstretch. In turn 3 Otey bobbled allowing Givens to get by for the lead. Over the next four laps Otey worked to set and going into turn 3 for the final time he dove under Givens and crossed the line just inches ahead for the win. After tech both Otey and Givens were DQ’d giving the win to Stephen Childress. Ben Lowry, Ryan Hutchens, Daniel Alford and Brandon Sandridge rounded out the top five. In the second Collision One Limited Stock 12 lap feature Stephen Childress grab the lead early and never looked back as he easily pulled away for the win and sweep of the nights events. Jimmy Duncan Doubles up in Modified action; Williams, Padula, Adkins and Givens also get wins

Jamaica, VA – Jimmy Duncan of Fredericksburg, VA emerged the big winner at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway as he swept both events for the Budweiser Modifieds on Collision Once, Xtra 99.1 Night. Other winners included Justin Williams in Victory Lap Late Models, David Padula in Fastrak Pro Late Models, Brett Adkins in Truckin Thunder Sportsman and Wesley Givens in Collision One Limited Stocks. Twin races for were scheduled for each division but after the second feature for the Budweiser Modifieds rain began to fall ending the nights activities. The first Budweiser Modified feature started with a tribute to the late Donnie Smith whose 1$ modified paced the four wide salute to the fans. On the drop of the green flag Mike Reynolds jumped out to an early lead followed closely by Jimmy Duncan, Joey Polevoy and Russell Erwin. For the first 10 laps Reynolds was able to keep Duncan and Erwin at bay but on lap 11 Reynolds slipped just a bit in turn 2 allowing Duncan to get by the for the lead and Erwin to go by for second. Duncan then went on to take the win over Erwin with Reynolds, Polevoy and Chris Arnold rounding out the top five. In the second feature it got three wide real quick as Jimmy Duncan, Joey Polevoy and Russell Erwin all raced out of turn 2 looking for the lead. Duncan would lead the first lap but his stay would be short lived as Erwin took over the top spot on the next lap. Two laps later Erwin would slow in turn 4 and take it to the pits handing the lead back to Duncan. Polevoy tried several times to take away the top spot but Duncan was too strong and went on to win his second feature of the night followed by Polevoy, Chris Arnold, James Sparks and Neal Hudgins. In the Victory Lap Late Model / Fastrak Pro Late Model feature Justin Williams would start on the pole and lead every lap in a dominating performance to pick up the win in the victory Lap Late Models. Tim Shelton and John Staton would put on a show for second as the two swapped the position back and forth multiple times before Shelton took the position for good followed by Staton, Billy Tucker and Troy Williams rounding out the top five. The highest finishing Fastrak Pro Late Model was David Padula. In the Truckin Thunder Sportsman it was the same old story as Brett Adkins picked up this seventh win of the season with Roger Jamerson, Davey Pullen, Junior Carter and Hunter Shelton rounding out the top five. The Collision One Limited Stock Car feature was probably the most entertaining as five drivers had a shot at the win. Wesley Givens, Marty Coltrain, Ryan Hutchens, Brian Maxey and Brandon Sandridge battle three wide for much of the 12 lap affair with Givens coming out the victor. The win was his sixth of the season. Rounding out the top five were Ryan Hutchens, Brian Maxey, Brandon Sandridge and Travis Hopkins. The speedway will return to racing next Friday August 23rd to host the $10,000 to win 34th Annual USA 100 featuring the Ultimate Super Late Model Series. Do not miss your chances to see best super late models drivers on the East Coast in what will be a North versus South slugfest. Also see a special $1500 to win modified event. Justin Williams and Walker Arthur Score Late Model Wins; Baggerly, Adkins, Shelton, Hamilton, Qaude, Maxey and Givens also get wins

Jamaica, VA – After three consecutive rainouts Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway finally had a beautiful night to race as it hosted Virginia Army National Guard “Salute to the Fallen” Tribute Night to a very large and enthusiastic crowd. All divisions competed in twin events. The night started with a very moving tribute to the 10 Virginia Army National Guard soldiers that have died in combat. Feature event winners for the night included Justin Williams and Walker Arthur in Victory Lap Late Models; Daniel Baggerly swept both events in Fastrak Pro Late Models; Brett Adkins and Hunter Shelton in Truckin Thunder Sportsman; Bret Hamilton and Matt Quade in Budweiser Modifieds and Brian Maxey and Wesley Givens in Collision One Limited Stocks. In the first feature for the Victory Lap Late Models / Fastrak Pro Late Models Justin Williams grabbed the lead right off the green flag. The racing behind Williams was intense for second on back but no one had anything for Williams as he cruised to his second victory of the season. Billy Tucker, Walker Arthur, Troy Williams and John Staton rounded out the top five. The second Victory Lap Late Model feature was a bit different. Scott Adams and John Staton led the field to green with Adams taking control out of turn 2. It looked as if Admas was set on cruise control but Walker Arthur had a differ idea. Arthur worked his way to second by lap 6 and caught Adams as the two raced into turn 1. Arthur dove under Adams and completed a text book slide job to take over the top spot. Once out front Arthur cruised to the win while the rest of the field battled for position. Troy Williams, Justin Williams, Darryl Hills and Scott Adams rounded out the top five. The first Budweiser Modified feature was a barn burner. Bret Hamilton and Brian Dobie led the 19 car field to green with Hamilton leading the first circuit. By lap 3 matt Quade was to the inside of Hamilton for the lead. The tow raced that way for much of the first 10 laps of the 15 lap affair. Each time Quade tried to take the lead Hamilton had an answer. Qaude tried one last time in turn 2 on the final lap but Hamilton had enough to take the win. Matt Quade, Jimmy Duncan, Josh Harris, Michael Reynolds rounded out the top five. In the second Budweiser Modified feature Josh Harris led the first eleven laps with a five car battle for second behind him. On lap 11 Matt Quade went outside of Harris out of turn 4 to take the lead by inches. Once out front Qaude went on to the win with Harris, Francis Jarrelle, Bret Hamilton and Michael Reynolds rounding out the top five. Brett Adkins dominated the first feature of the night for the Truckin Thunder Sportsman. Troy Doggett led the first 2 laps before giving up the lead to Junior Carter. Carter led till Adkins swept to his outside on lap 4 to take the lead. Once out front Adkins cruised to the win. Junior Carter, Davey Pullen, Hunter Shelton and Troy Doggett rounded out the top five. In the second feature for the Truckin Thunder Sportsman the forst lap quickly went three wide with Macy Causey, Junior Carter and Hunter Shelton. Once the dust settled Shelton emerged with the lead and once out front never looked back as he went on to score the win. Brett Adkins, Davey Pullen, Troy Doggett and Macy Causey rounded out the top five. Brian Maxey emerged the winner in the caution filled first feature for the Collision One Limited Stock Cars. Ryan Hutchens, Brian Bradley, Shawn Otey and Travis Hopkins rounded out the top five. In the second feature for the Collision One Limited Stock Cars is was not good to be the leader but it also provide the best finish of the night. Shawn Otey grabbed the lead on the drop of the green but would surrender the top spot on lap 8 when he spun in turn 2. That handed the lead to David Bowler who paced the field for a lap before hitting the turn 2 wall ending his night. That gave the lead to Brian Maxey who looked to have the race locked up until the final two laps when Wesley Givens, in a borrowed car, closed in on the leader. Heading into turn 3 for the final time Givens dove it in deep under Maxey and when the two raced off of turn 4 it was Givens by a few feet at the line to get the win. Maxey, Travis Hopkins, Ryan Hutchens and Rick Powers rounded out the top five. Childress and Ender Score Career first Late Model Victories; H. Shelton, Adkins, C. Arnold, Duncan, Sandridge and Givens also pick up wins

Jamaica, VA – It only took rookie Stephen Childress of St. Stephens Church, VA six races into his late model career to pick up his first win in the ultra-competitive Victory Lap Late Model division at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway on Truckin Thunder Scout Night presented by the Virginia Army National Guard. Childress grab the lead in the first twin 20 on the opening circuit. On lap 3 Justin Williams looked to get inside Childress in turn 3 only to be turned away. Childress then held off several challenges by Billy Tucker and then pulled away to win comfortably. Billy Tucker, Tim Shelton, Joe Ender and Anthony Kincaid rounded out the top five. In a night of first for the late model division Joe Ender held off Billy Tucker and Justin Williams in a great battle to earn his career first Victory Lap Late Model victory. Ender grabbed the lead on the opening green flag with Tucker in tow. On lap 2 Tucker got inside Ender in turn 1 taking the lead out of turn 4. The battle for the lead then got heavy as Tucker, Ender and Williams waged a three car battle for the top spot. On lap 13 Ender went outside Tucker out of four taking over the top spot by inches at the line. Ender went on to score his career first win followed by Williams, Anthony Kincaid, Tim Shelton and David Padula. Padula won both Fastrak Pro Late Model events. Chris Arnold of Chester, VA picked up the lead on Lap 6 of the Budweiser Modified first event when then leader Jimmy Duncan got caught up in another drivers spin sending him to the rear for the restart. That was all Arnold needed as he went onto hold off his dad Dan Arnold on a green, white, checkered finish to pick up the victory. Rounding out the top five were Matt Quade, Michael Reynolds and Bret Hamilton. In the second race for the Budweiser Modifieds Jimmy Duncan set the pace by taking the top spot on the opening circuit. Multiple cautions plagued the beginning of the event allowing Brett Hamilton several shots at Duncan for the lead. Duncan pulled away for the victory as Hamilton and Matt Quade battled over second spot with Hamilton claiming the position. Quade, Brian Dobie and Matt Ashworth rounded out the top five. In the first Truckin Thunder Sportsman 15 lap event Thomas Rose took the lead on the opening lap with Hunter Shelton in tow. Hunter got inside Rose in turn 1 on lap 4 to take over the top spot. Once out front Shelton pulled away as Junior Carter and Brett Adkins battled over second. Shelton would go on to score the win with Carter, Adkins, Thomas Rose and James Snead rounding out the top five. It was a different story in race two for the Truckin Thunder Sportsman as James Snead lead the first circuit until Brett Adkins swept around his outside in turn 1 for the lead. Once out front Adkins put in on cruise control and would go on to score his third win of the season. Following Adkins to the checkers were James Snead holding off Hunter Shelton for second with Thomas Rose and Tommy Upshaw rounding out the top five. In the first race for the Collision One Limited Stock Cars it looked as if David Bowler would pick up his career first victory but on lap 10 Brandon Sandridge got inside Bowler coming out of two and dragged raced back to the line where he took over the lead and went over to get the win. Bowler, Wesley Givens, Brian Maxey and Shawn Otey rounded out the top five. In the second race for the Collision One Limited Stock Cars Travis Hopkins led first lap and a half before Wesley Givens worked under him for the lead. Once Givens got out front he pulled away with Bowler, Sandridge and Maxey in tow. As the laps wore down Bowler began to reel in the leader Givens but there just not enough laps and Givens would go on to the win. Bowler, Sandrige, Maxey and Hopkins would round out the top five. Tucker and Adams Score Late Model Victories; Duncan, Adkins, Padula and Givens Sweep Twins

Jamaica, VA – Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway hosted its second night of twin features on a very chilly night. The temperatures may have been unseasonably cold but the racing was blistering hot. Features winners were Billy Tucker of King George, VA and Scott Adams of Chester, VA in the Victory Lap Late Model twins; Brett Adkins of Gloucester, VA swept both Trucking Thunder Sportsman features; Jimmy Duncan of Fredericksburg, VA won both Budweiser Modified features; Dave Padula of Greencastle, PA won both Fastrak Pro Late Model features and Wesley Givens of Mechanicsville, VA swept the action in Collision One Limited Stock Cars. John Staton of Chesapeake, VA led 14 laps of the first 20 lap feature for the Victory Lap Late Models, that is until he made contact with a slower car in turn 2 sending him spinning and to the infield. That handed the lead over to Billy Tucker who had battled Staton for the lead for the first 14 laps. Once out front Tucker made the most of it taking home his first win of 2013. In the second 20 lap feature for the late models Tucker had to start eighth due to the invert. Leading the field to green were Brandon Long and Scott Adams with long leading the first circuit. Adams took over the lead on lap 2 with Tucker working his way back to the front. By lap 4 Tucker was on the leader’s bumper and looking for the lead. Adams and Tucker raced side by side for much of the remaining laps but it was Adams who would take home the win. In the Truckin Thunder Sportsman Brett Adkins took out the broom to win both features but each was different than the other.oen in a different fashion. In the first 15 lap feature Adkins started sixth and worked his way to the front and on lap 4 made an outside move on Junior Carter in turn 2 and then an inside move on Timmy Brann in turn 3 to take the lead. Once out front Adkins cruised to the win. The second Sportsman feature was a different story. 12 year old Macy Causey of Gloucester, VA led the first four laps before both Junior Carter and Adkins got by for the lead. Carter and Adkins exchanged the lead multiple times with slide jobs in every corner right down to the last lap when Carter got loose in turn four allowing Adkins to go on for his second win of the night. It only took Jimmy Duncan 8 laps to get to the lead of the first Budweiser Modified feature. Once out front Duncan set a blistering pace. Matt Quade tried several times to get inside Duncan and on the last corner got to the inside of Duncan to challenge for the win with Duncan holding to take the victory. In the second Budweiser Modified 15 lap feature started out three wide into turn three with Duncan, Neal Hudgins and Quade all vying for the top spot. Duncan would lead flag to flag but had to hold off Hudgins and Mike Reynolds on several occasions for the sweep of the night’s features. The best racing of the night may have been in the Collision One Limited Stock Twin 12 lap features. In the first feature the race was a six car fight for the win. Brandon Sandridge, Brian Maxey, Wesley Givens, Davis Lipscombe. Shawn Otey and Bobby Curtis all took shots at the lead. Night of Twins Produces Ten Different Winners

Jamaica, VA – On a beautiful but chilly night Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway hosted the first of 6 “Twins” nights for the 2013 season. The racing in every division was so exciting and intense it produced ten different winners. Picking up wins were Troy Williams of South Mills, VA and Justin Williams of Shipman, VA in Victory Lap Late Models; Junior Carter of Mechanicsville, VA and Brett Adkins of Gloucester, VA in Truckin Thunder Sportsman; Mike Reynolds of Clements, MD and Chris Arnold of Chester, VA in Budweiser Modifieds and Brandon Sandridge of Mechanicsville VA and Brian Maxey of King George, VA in Collision One Limited Stock Cars. Track records were recorded in the Victory Lap Late Models with Justin Williams turning a lap at 18.093 seconds and Chris Arnold breaking his own track record for the second week in a row with a lap of 19.101 seconds. In the Victory Lap Late Model Twin 20’s the action went three wide right off the drop of the green flag. Troy Williams would grab the top spot with John Staton following in close pursuit. On the next circuit Justin Williams took over the runner-up spot and set out to catch Williams for the lead. J. Williams tried several times to get by T. Williams for the lead but T. Williams had enough to go on to his career first late model win. Rounding out the top 5 were Justin Williams, Billy Tucker wins, John Staton and David Puckett. Richard Harden picked up the Fastrak Pro Late Model win. The second late model feature started with a huge pile-up in turn 1 that took out several cars. On the restart John Staton pulled away to take the lead over Justin Williams. A caution on lap 7 closed the field on Staton’s bumper. That is all Williams needed. On the drop of the green flag Willimas dove under Staton in turn one to take the lead and once out front set sail leading the remaining laps to pick up his second win of the season. John Saton, Joe Ender, Stephen Childress and Anthony Kincaid rounded out the top five. David Padual picked up the Fastrak Pro Late Model win. In the first Twin 15 for the Trucking Thunder Sportsman Junior Carter used a three wide pass out of turn 2 on lap 2 to take over second. On lap 4 Carter then used an inside move out of turn 4 to take the lead. Carter survived several restarts after cautions and went on to pick up the win. Davey Pullen, Brett Adkins, Hunter Shelton and Carl Vaughan rounded out the top five. In the final feature for the Truckin Thunder Sportsman Brett Adkins took the lead on the drop of the green flag and dominated the 15 lap affair. Adkins was never challenged and went on to record his second win of the season with Davey Pullen, Hunter Shelton, Tommy Upshaw and Timmy Brinn rounding out the top five. Brinn was the Pitts Lumber rookie of the Race in both twin features. In the first Twin 15 lap event for the Budweiser Modifieds Mike Reynolds took over the top spot on lap 6 when then leader Jimmy Duncan spun in turn 3. Once out front Reynolds set a blistering pace while Chris Arnold kept the rest of the field at bay. Arnold would battle the hard charging Duncan for third while Reynolds went on to win. Chris Arnold, Jimmy Duncan, Matt Quade and Joey Polevoy rounded out the top five. Twin #2 started off three wide with Neal Hudgins leading the first circuit. Chris Arnold took over the top spot on lap 2 with a three wide pass to the outside out of turn 2. Once out front Arnold set sail with Matt Quade trying to close the gap. Quade had one last chance when a caution came out with tow to go. On the restart Arnold pulled away for the win with Quade, Joey Polevoy, Francis Jarrell and Neal Hudgins rounding out the top five. The Collision One Limited Stock Car Twin 12’s were the most entertaining of the evening. In the first feature Brandon Sandridge battled with Travis Hopkins for the first four circuits until muscling his way to the lead on lap 5. Sandridge would then have to hold off Wesley Givens for the remaining eight laps to pick up the win followed by Givens, Brian Maxey, David Bowler and Travis Hopkins. In the second feature for the Collision One Limited Stock division Brian Maxey jumped out to the lead and once out front never looked back. Wesley Givens and Brandon Sandridge did their best to reel in the leader but it was all Maxey as he went on to the win followed by Givens, Sandridge, Travis Hopkins and Brian Bradley rounding out the top five.
