When or do you plan on having Fireworks at any of your big or special events at Virginia Motor Speedway this season? That’s always a big draw for families and kids! Since you’re not operating on July 5th, why not do something like that before the USA 100 this coming weekend! You need to add any and all the excitement you possibly can to make your big races even more special than any of your competition in the area!

Casie, we will have small fireworks deal during the opening lap of the USA 100 this weekend. As far as a big fireworks show, the person we had doing the fireworks is no longer with us. We are looking a finding a new person.

Do you operate your short wave FM transmission of the race announcer at the track? What kind of car count you are expecting for the USA 100 (Unlimited Late Models only, for tonight’s main events)? How many out of state drivers are you expecting? What is the local forecast temperature during tonight’s actual racing time period?

P.S. Is “Booper Bare” still driving and if so do you expect him for the USA 100 tonight?

Casie, we do use a short wave FM transmitter (95.5) to be able to hear the announcer. WE do not know what the car count will be, my guess would be 30 cars or so an most will be out of towners. Race time temps should be in the low 60’s to high 50’s. Booper Bare is racing but his car is not ready from what we know.
